Frequently Asked Questions From New Couples
1. Am I required to dress to the theme of the party?
No........... Just come in something neat and comfortable. You can always dress to the next theme. Remember the first impression is always the best.
2. What time does things get started?
Registration starts at every party at 5:30pm until 7:30pm in one of our hospitality rooms which is either 103 or 105. The ballroom is located between the resturuant and motel. We have a new couples seminar that we give at 6:00pm at every party in one of the hospitality rooms. And then the dance starts at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:45pm and goes till 1:00am or so in the ballroom.
3. Do we have to attend the new couples seminar?
No, It is not a requirement, but we do advise it for couples who are new to the club.
4. What is the price for us to come to a party?
We ask for a door donation of $30.00 per couple to get into the dance and help for the cost of the rooms, food, advertising, etc. Single females are ask to donate $10.00, and of course your motel room fee is extra. Some of our parties also offer special door discounts if you sign up for our parties on SLS (Swing Lifestyle) Its free so join it.
5. What is the price for our motel room?
The club has one set price at the motel. This is for Kings or 2 Double beds. Your room price is $55.00 plus tax. You make your own reservations for each party with the motel. You do not have to make reservations with the club to attend any party. All you do is show up and register at our regular registration times. When making your room reservations be sure and tell the motel clerk that you are with the PDC Club. This assures you the club price and also assures you a room on the clubs private floors or block that we may have. If you do not tell them you are with the club they may assign you a room anywhere. Also please try and make your reservations as early as possible before a party. If something unexpectedly comes up, you can always cancel before 6:00pm the day of our party.
The motel gives rooms out as first come first served. So come early to receive your room on the clubs halls. Also if you don't reserve your room with a credit card then they can't hold your rooms past 6:00pm. So always use a credit card if your going to be running late.
6. Is it BYOB or is there a cash bar?
Its BYOB. Beer only. No taxed liquor can be brought into the ballroom. Beer is fine. Wine and taxed liquor has to be left in your rooms and or premixed and put in another type of container besides the bottle that its sold in. The club will provide, ice, cups, snacks, and a few mixers for you in the ballroom. If you do need mixers other than soft drinks then you have to furnish them yourself.
7. Do we have to get a room?
No, but we hope you do. The club is members of CADD which stands for Couples Against Drunk Drivers and tries to advise all couples to get a room the first time they come. We don't want to see anyone get caught drinking and driving or taking a chance having an accident. Also if your there and you meet someone you'd like to meet or get to know better then its hard to do it if you don't have a room.

9. How many couples and what age ranges are the couples?
The club never knows who or how many couples are coming to any party. Since motel reservations are handled by the motel we never know. We also have many local couples that come to every party that don't get rooms, so its hard to know. Usually we have anywhere from 45-65 couples at any party. We have couples of all age range at our parties. Usually the largest crowds are in their 30's to 40's range. But we have couples in their 20's and in their 60's also. Each party is different with lots of different couples. There is always new couples at every party. We also usually have several single females at every party. They range in different ages also. And no we do not fix the single females up with single guys, so don't ask.
10. Does the club party or hospitality rooms?
Yes the club has 2 adjoining hospitality rooms that are open during the dance. They usually open around midnight and close around 3:00am or so and are open to any of the clubs members. Do not bring people not with our club into the ballrooms or party room. If we see them their then them and whomever brought them in or asked them to come in will be asked to leave. If you want to party with someone other than club members please do it at another time when we don't have a party going on. Make sure you have your wristband on when you go into one of the hospitality rooms after the dance. We also have a VCR setup in one of the rooms for couples to enjoy.
11. What type of information from us will be required to attend one of your parties?
All we need is names, ages, and an email address if you have one, the first time you attend one of our parties. You will be asked for a pictured ID for age verification, (this is because of alcohol being brought in and consumed at the party). All information is kept private at all times. This is your club once you come and join. If you see anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or is not to your liking then please see one of the ladies at the desk or one of the male staff members and we will handle the situation. We want everyone to have fun, feel comfortable and relaxed.
